The Stately newel post cap has a new look but still works well with any size post and will be a very simple, yet bold statement to your stairs.  This newel post cap has a trim at the bottom of the newel post cap that is 3/4″ tall.    The total newel post cap height is 2 3/4″ and 2″ wider than your actual newel post at its widest point.  It is built to slide down on your newel perfectly making installation easy.  The Stately newel post cap will work well with any size post and will be a very simple, yet bold statement to your stairs.

How to measure and order a newel top (newel cap):

1. Measure the width and depth of your newel post.

2.  Order the exact size based off that measurement.  If your post is 3″ wide and 3″ deep, then you will order a 3″ newel top (newel cap).  Don’t worry, your newel top will come slightly larger to make easy for installation.
